C - have you ever felt you should cut down on your drinking?
A - do others annoy you by criticizing your drinking?
G - do you feel guilty about your drinking?
E - do you have the need for an eye opener?
The eye closer is used for for females, it's when they have had too much to drink and a male/men bust in their face landing on or near the eye resulting in an eye closer. The eye closer is only valid if the female wakes up in the morning with a closed eye and can't remember why. The female CAGE criteria is as follows:

The WNAC news director moved to WPVI-TV (formerly WFIL-TV) in Philadelphia, PA, and took the music with him, and spread to other stations across the U.S. (KFSN-TV 30 San Francisco, WJET-TV 24 Erie, WKBW-TV 7 Buffalo, ETC.), mostly used in the Northeast. Today, WPVI is the ONLY station to still use the theme after 35 years and still counting.
