Booned is the past tense of 'boon'. To boon something means to stash it for later. Introduced as a phrase in World of Warcraft Classic, it spread rapidly around social media and Twitch with gamers everywhere. The original use of the word stems from the item Chronoboon Displacer, which allowed players to store their world buffs for use at a later date.
