A beautiful, innocent, and talented actress; about seven thousand times more intelligent than the average American Hollywood actress.
If I ever had the chance to meet Winona Ryder, it would be the greatest moment in my life up until now.

1. verb. When you let your cigarette burn down without ashing it. akin to the cut scene in the film "Girl Interrupted" where Winona's character is smoking and being questioned by a therapist... only to lapse into flashbacks and daydreams... letting her cigarette burn all the way down without noticing it and being asked by the therapist if she takes drugs.
person 1: Damn, you're really Winona Rydering that cigarette!
person 2: I know! Look how much ash there is!
*ash falls off in moment of stark sadness and failure*
persons 1 and 2: Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

The most beautiful, intelligent, amazing, talented, and downright awesome actress working today. She has been in lots of good films (Beetlejuice, Black Swan, Lucas, Reality Bites, Heathers, Girl, Interrupted, Dracula).

"one of the most celebrated actresses of her generation. Adept at playing characters ranging from depressed, angst-ridden goths to Edith Wharton debutantes, the saucer-eyed, porcelain-skinned Ryder has attained critical respect in addition to widespread popularity" wish I knew her

"Publicly, Winona is rather approachable. People describe her as nice, friendly, cooperative, and polite. On the other hand, you can sense that she's a troubled lady. Hazy about her purpose in life, she's sensitive and spiritually confused, which has caused her to suffer bouts of depression and panic attacks.
Still, it's most likely that sensitivity that has made her such a wonderful thespian. Even if she's played characters ranging from cheerleaders and teenage wives to rebellious daughters and feminists, she never chooses roles to advance her career. What makes her so special is the fact that she never works just for a paycheck." askmen.com
