Rap activist, peace advocate, inventor. Born in Tokyo 1975, raised in Tanzania, England, and Japan. Shing02 landed in SF Bay Area in '89 after the quake at the age of 15. scinger

A ‘scinger’ is a shortened form for a ‘scotch and ginger’. Since ordering a ‘scotch and dry’ (i.e. a scotch and dry ginger ale mixed drink that’s popular in Australia) can often result in being served a ‘scotch and dry vermouth’ in California, one must therefore order a ‘scotch and ginger’, which after a few rounds comes out as ‘scinger’. Often heard slurred by drunk Aussies in bars in the TL!
