When a player in a videogame uses their superior score in a certain match as the authority and a way to absolve themselves from criticism from other players.
I told John that he needed to work on his AK-47 spray in a CS:GO match, but he shrugged it off and told me that he was doing better and therefore I can't speak about his AK-47 spray. Carl and I knew this was a classic case of the scoreboard syndrome.

The act of faking an injury in an athletic competition in which your team is losing by a lot so you don't have to play anymore.
Dad: I'm sorry your basketball game turned out so bad. But did you see the way Mary collapsed in the middle of the floor? It was an Academy Award-winning slow motion fall. Eyes rolled up to the ceiling with a slow spin to the floor. No one touched her!
Daughter: I know. Scoreboard injury. She had to lay there for a while to make it look good.
Dad: Well, at least the other girls on the team who care about playing got playing time.

Portable, sometimes fixed, radar speed devices put up either by police or private agencies in an attempt to frighten you into reducing your speed. Often these lack any sort of camera, and rely on flashing lights and short messages to slow down if you're exceeding the speed while approaching them. However if it contains no camera, or you live in an area where photo radar enforcement is illegal, it affords an interesting opportunity to see how fast you can go and rack up points in miles per hour.
