Played by Thomas Brodie-Sangster in the movies, Newt survived the first two movies with the help of his friends and his boyfriend Thomas (NEWTMAS!!!) until James Dashner killed him off (wHY) in the Death cure. Newt was known as the ‘glue’ because he held everyone together.
