It is originally a joke edit made by a popular Indonesian editor but some people took it as their own style (mostly Indonesians and Filipinos). It is hated by the editing community because people who edit Jedag Jedugs are mostly self-proclaimed pro editors that mostly use mobile editing software and post their work mostly on TikTok.
