Generally speaking under forum Role Play based turns a godmoder is someone who seems to be all powerful, using the strongest attacks, somehow always hitting their opponent and having the uncanny ability to dodge everything thrown at them, compared to literate RPers godmoders appear as bafoons, it's odd that there are still so many of them about in this crazy world,
Godmoder Bob: Bob laughs as fred's kamikaze attack capable of wiping out half the world is absorbed by Bobs magic crystal
Godmoder fred: luckily Fred is half pheonix, able to return to life
normal player: For the love of God, stop it...stop it now, I can't take it anymore...too much godmoding....KILL ME NOW!

In a written RPG, this refers mostly to a player controlling another player's character without permission or trying to rewrite the plot to suit themselves. In written RPGs, the owner, ie the person who started the thread in the forum, has control of the plot unless he/she gives permission.
This is something often done by noobs.

(In an RPG set in the 50s)
Jane: Daisy walked into the diner and ordered a milkshake.
Noob: Immediately a man drove his tank into the front of the diner at warp speed, and started blasting off laser guns at everyone!
Jane: You idiot, that's godmoding!
(In the same RP a little later)
Jane: Daisy walked over to talk to her best friend, who was standing by the jukebox.
Noob: Daisy immediately slapped her friend.
Jane: Stop godmoding my character!

Someone that play god. Have hyperpowerful attacks as well as no weakness and a cheap way to counter everything. See wordlamer/wordand wordtwink/word.

It is a cheat used in video games. While it's mostly obtained through hacking or a cheat code, in online games, admins sometimes have a godmode option in their admin panel.
1: Hey, are you watching the new livestream? There are admins playing!
2: Are they again using godmode to cheat in parkour?
1: Well, yes.
2: Not interested.

Someone who can do anything to you that you can't do to them. Trying to attack someone without their permission who can do anything they want.
For example: helper54321 that uses Godmodding in ROBLOX grabs another player with the force that can't be done to him. Trying to grab someone with the force that somehow doesn't work.

Godmode
The final, transcendent evolution of the RHSM (Racing Heart, Steady Mind) state.
While RHSM is being perfectly in the zone, Godmode is when you're so deep in the zone that you start breaking the rules of reality itself. It's a state of peak performance so profound that your actions seem precognitive. You're not just reacting quickly; you're moving before the stimulus even happens. Every decision is flawless, every move is perfect, and failure ceases to be a possibility.
To outside observers, a person in Godmode appears to be hacking, cheating, or blessed by some divine force. Their performance is literally unbelievable because it surpasses the known limits of human skill. You don't achieve Godmode; it simply takes over when the stakes are highest.

Example 1: (Sports)
Person A: "How did he catch that? He was already diving before the ball was even thrown!"
Person B: "He's not playing the game anymore. He's in Godmode. Just watch."
Example 2: (Gaming)
"Normally her K/D is like 1.2, but in that final round she went full Godmode. She was single-handedly wiping squads with moves that shouldn't be possible. It was like watching a human aimbot."
Example 3: (Work/Creative)
"I was stuck on this impossible coding problem for a week. Then last night, fueled by caffeine and desperation, my brain just hit Godmode. I fixed everything in an hour and the code was so clean it looked like a work of art."
