Gearwhore

A pro or amateur musician who will try to get equipment from any company just to say they are sponsored, or 'endorsed. They don't have any loyalty to the brand, just themselves. Their website usually looks like a Nascar windshield with all the brands they
use.

Did you here about Mr Rockstar changing guitar companies again because they won't pay him for using their gear? What a total gearwhore :(

Derogatory term used by others to describe rivetheads; Used by rivetheads to denote someone who is deep into the more experimental side of the scene. In which case, it's a compliment.
