A once-beautiful country lead by Fidel Castro, a corrupt fascist dictator. Foreign tourists are welcomed warmly by the regime, and there are several nice tourist spots in Cuba where Cuban citizens are not allowed to go. It is 70 miles southeast of Miami, and the US sees this as a threat, even though the Soviet Union was only a few miles west of Alaska.

Fidel Castro supported Iraq's Ba'athist regime by sending Cuban cigars to Saddam.

The only way to go to Cuba is to take a flight from Cancun to Havana in some old Russian two-prop plane.

A country everybody (especially Europeans) think is South-American, but is actually North-American. Dictator Fidel Castro is ruling here, brougth to power by Argentinian Che Guevara and his cool anti-capitalism communist guerilla-dudes gang. Beautiful country with the best healthcare and sports-funding of the world. No freedom of speech.

Ignorant outsider: I like the Cuban Che Guevara who fought against Fidel in South America back in the seventies.

Telling that Che Guevara was the minister of Economic Affairs in Cuba souns a lot more boring than that he won a war with 100 men against a government with an army of 150.000.

The North American Country, once ran by the (US backed) Batista Dictatorship. Revolutionized in the 1950's by Fidel Castro and other such communists. Is now run by Castro. It is not a Dictatorship, and not close to fascist. It is a lose socialist democracy. Free Healthcare, and schooling, as well as shelter is provided by the state. It has suffered as a US embargo cuts off most trade with the outside world.Currently still in revolution moving towards communism through socialism.
Castro has not betrayed Che Guevara, and stays on the course towards communism.
