toasted coffee skins

The residue left at the bottom of a coffee pot after it has been left on all day. The coffee evaporates and burns into a crust. This typically happens when there is less than one cup left in the pot.

Dillon, you left the coffee maker on all day again. Go scrub those toasted coffee skins off the bottom.

a phrase originated on the Fox sitcom Arrested Development. It means roughly 'you've made me so happy' or 'join me in being happy'. The character of G.O.B. Bluth once begged his brother to "taste the happy" and pushed his face up against him, trying to get him to taste his tears of happiness.
