Also may be a synonym to “Yapping”, Individuals who engage in this type of communication may embellish details, exaggerate events, or fabricate entirely fictional accounts, often leading to confusion, disinterest, or frustration among listeners.

Man 1: OH! You’re a Marine? I would have joined the Marines, but when I was talking to my recruiter he said the paperwork would take too long and I was just trying to get a Hellcat.
