Boredom Amnesia

Memory loss due to a severe feeling of boredom. Your brain is in a non-functional and non-productive state for so long that it even stops recording memories.

I had nothing to do all day at work today and I was bored out of my head. When the time came to fill in my timesheet I couldn't remember what I was doing all day. I must be suffering from boredom amnesia.

A common phenomena (AKA The Frothies) experienced by surfers who have caught an epic wave, after which, they struggle to recall any events or specific details from that wave, such as maneuvers or sections. Related symptoms to Wave Amnesia include being stoked and having an intense sense of euphoria.

Surfer Guy 1: Dude, just had the sickest wave yo.
Surfer Guy 2: Oh yeah, what did you do?
Surfer Guy 1: Fuck, I don't even know man. I got Wave Amnesia.
