Idiot head

The most absolutely devastating insult. This assures the recipients utter destruction of their very will to live. When this insult is used, the recipient's very atoms collapse in on themselves, forming a blackhole for a split second and then their meager existence is no more than an already fading memory and their immortal soul literally dies.

My dad said I was a disappointment, so I called him an idiot head.

(n) anything on television that only idiots would find interesting. (e.g. a reality show about Lindsay Lohan's mother.) 'Idiot bait' is used to lure in unsuspecting idiots, zapping them as soon as they click Record Entire Series on their Tivo, in order to remove them from the population. 'Idiot bait' is a population control method endorsed by President George W. Bush.

Person 1: Did you see that new show on television with Lindsay Lohan's mom? It looks like a car wreck.

Person B: Yeah, be careful with that. I think it's idiot bait. Your Tivo might zap you.

idiot plot

In literary criticism, idiot plot refers to "a plot which is kept in motion solely by virtue of the fact that everybody involved is an idiot,"otherwise "they'd immediately figure out everything and the movie would be over."It is a narrative where its conflict comes from characters not recognizing, or not being told, key information that would resolve the conflict, often because of plot contrivance. The only thing that prevents the conflict's resolution is the character's constant avoidance or obliviousness of it throughout the plot, even if it was already obvious to the viewer, so the characters are all "idiots" in that they are too obtuse to simply resolve the conflict immediately.
