A deadbeat dan is a father figure, usually suffering from an addiction or substance abuse( drugs or alcohol). Can or will have multiple offspring from different parents, with out ever being married. Is typically a toxic person, and thinks very highly of themselves, but has little life accomplishments to speak of.
