Cooks Weekend

The days a chef gets off during his work week, rarely falls on a Saturday or Sunday as they are usually the busiest days in a restaurants week. Often a Monday or Tuesday. Usually prevents a cook from engaging in normal weekend activities with civilian friends like parties and concerts.

Guy 1;Are you coming to the party Saturday?
Guy 2: Nope, cooks weekend, I am off Tuesday and Wednesday.

Background: Derek stayed up for 136 hours straight to do his final year project, between the hours of 10am Sunday and 2am Saturday he didn't sleep!

slumber weekend

a table for two slumber party which lasts all weekend long, or multiple days in a row. usually involves staying in bed the entire time, eating take-out or watching movies between bone sessions. mostly occurs when one night together feels so great that you just don't want it to end.

1. i remember that dude, we had a slumber weekend once. it was awesome.
2. we don't go out much, my girlfriend and i have slumber weekends constantly.
