awkward stage

usually between sometime in middle school to high school (or if you're SUPER unlucky, college, whereas then you might just be an awkward person at that point) where you do socially unacceptable things and don't realize how unacceptable they are until you look back many years later and realize how nerdy/socially unacceptable/odd you were. symptoms include: public displays of white girls trying to act ghetto and shopping at wet seal and males with an uncanny obsession with a card/video game with fictional characters

Jenny: "Oh god, remember when Carrie dressed really ugly for that slutty sophomore Halloween party?"
Carrie: "Shut up Jenny. that was my awkward stage!"

toilet stage fright

When someone goes to the tiolet but holds on while sitting there because there are other people in the room (public toilets) they then wait till the person/people leave till the "go"

P1 -"Someones been in that toilet the whole time weve been doing our make up"
p2 -"haha theve probley got toilet stage fright"
p1 - "Lets re apply our make up and make them hold longer hehe"

Stag Head

Used in North West London to describe an individual who would frequent The Bald Faced Stag in Burnt Oak. Typical attributes include working class, English, round headed, red faced, slightly chubby, and overtly enthusiastic about the joys of the alcoholic beverage.

"I guarantee he drinks alcohol, he looks like a right Stag head."

Stag Party

Also known as a 'bachelor party', 'bull's party' or 'buck's party/night'

It's a party or weekend away held for a bachelor shortly before he gets married. A night of drinking and debauchery before he loses his 'freedom'. This may involve he and his party dressing up in weird or outlandish costumes, drinking to excess, gambling, stripper(s) and pranks.

It's a rite of passage from bachelorhood to a supposedly more responsible married life.

The female version of this is called a 'Hen Party'

Dave and 15 of his mates went to Blackpool for his stag party, we dressed him up as a slutty girl, trashed the hotel, got into several fights and ended up spending the night in a police cell.
