Get the Caitlin Mosher mug.A weird hybrid. Fairly difficult to define. Mainly found lingering in town centres, never venturing to larger towns. Were formally scallies, but discovered Korn/Slipknot/other metal/rock, and decided to be a mosher. Often seen wearing a scummy band t-shirt or hoody and tracksuit bottoms. Also seen acting "so kerazy!" eg shouting random words, or wearing risque t-shirts. More scally than mosher really.
That DJ guy is a scally mosher - he has about 50 kids and loves Elizabeth Duke jewellery and yet loves Korn.

Before depression, drainpipes and emo, there was light-heartedness, baggy jeans and moshers.
These were people who listened to a wide variety of rock music, but weren't particularly interested in fashion. Playing guitar out of genuine interest and skateboarding among teenage moshers was very common, unlike today, where many are too self-conscious to attempt any sport activity.
Attire can include anything from casual everyday wear, to So-Cal statements such as dickies shorts and high socks a-la Blink 182, to baggy hoodies and jeans, often with chains attached. Skinny jeans had not yet been invented.
Genuinely want to have a good time whilst moshing and headbanging in the 'mosh pit', hence where the word 'mosher' originated. Generally open-minded, fun, and nice people, always up for a party, often have many 'mosher' friends. Are indifferent to dirt and greasiness. Hate labelling or stereotypes. Only known enemies are jerks, chavs, neds and council estate working class pyromaniacs.
Most popular from the early-mid 1990's to early 2000's.
Extinct by about 2002.

Get the Moocher mug.A taker is any individual that is part of the 47% of Americans who pay zero federal income taxes...and then votes over and over for the party that is most likely to increase taxes (ie. take even more earned property) on the 53% who DO pay federal income taxes. These folks also do not have a hint of appreciation, or guilt in their hearts, rather they call you selfish if you don't agree to pay more, and give it to them. Of course this is all due to the King Enabler of Bad Behavior, the Federal Government...the gvmt is close to achieving their goal (48.5% of all Americans now receive some kind of federal assistance), to have as many people rely on the government as possible. This same entity is the primary reason for the suffering that is happening, all other blame is marginal, and is not the source...in fact, sometimes one may think the it's intentional.
Yeah, I know, sucks Billy is a real Moocher ("Taker"), it's sad...not sure if he realizes that his behavior is rather embarrassing and certainly not a tenant of any anything moral. Maybe some day he will contribute something to society, instead of being a net negative overall to society as he will most definitely take more money than he will ever contribute, all the while he continues blaming others for his bad behavior and his position in life.
