An abbreviation of South Laguna, California. Affectionately used by skimboarders or other locals to distinguish their beaches or homes from the City of Laguna Beach.

So Lag has some of the best skimmers around.

lag-blamer

The kid on any type of online game that doesn't get any kills or dies more times than he gets kills (terrible kill to death ratio) because of 'the lag'. There is usually no lag and the person playing is usually a lier to make him sound better at the game.

"anyone one else seein' this lag?"

"no, my connection seems to be okay."

"must be my connection because i went 2 to 12"

A situation where your sleep patterns have adjusted to a new time zone, but your bowel movements are still in the previous Timezone. This can be problematic for people who prefer to have natures calling before their morning shower.

turbo lag

A lag that is often felt by the driver of a turbocharged vehicle as a delay between pushing on the accelerator pedal and having the turbocharger create boost inside the intake tract.

This is symptomatic of the time taken for the exhaust system driving the turbine to come to high pressure and for the turbine rotor to overcome its rotational inertia and reach the speed necessary to supply boost pressure.

I can't make boost throughout first gear...my car has a massive amount of turbo lag.
