Tag Epidemic

A tag epidemic usually occurs on Facebook. What happens is, a person will tag a lot of other people on a photo and then the people tagged also tag more people. What ends up happening is that more and more people are tagged and leave comments on the photos that turn to full conversations between 30 people, which in turn leaves many, many notifications to check, and clogged email. A recent picture has been a cartoon picture with names describing a trait of your friends and tells you to tag others. Has been known to cause severe frustration, telling people to shut up or stop commenting, and untagging. It has also been known to be a cyber disease. They may also cause your email inbox to look like spam.

Guy 1- "Dude, that new picture is a helluva tag epidemic. I went home to go on Facebook and I had 178 notifications! All about one picture! People were even talking about the tag epidemic on the photo."

Guy 2- "Luckily I got only 56 notifications"

Tag chaser

A girl looking to take advantage of military members for personal gain, money, and healthcare. Usually seen clubbing, stealing, smoking weed, faking pregnancies, and getting railed in the barracks. Often works at a shitty pizza place or a vape shop. Probably models on cars for social media.

That bitch is a total tag chaser.

Tag hater

Not to be confused with the fine Swiss watch maker Tag Heuer, a tag hater is the individual out there who makes a habit out of dropping his or her name off a tagged photo after having already been tagged. This person may or may not take their life too seriously, is perhaps a shady-type sheister, one who obsesses over the vanity of the picture, or a low-ranking private on the pimp scale, concerned about the consequences of creepin.

My dude is constantly dropping his name off these pictures. He's the biggest tag hater I know!

The act of frantically cleaning up your social network profile page image tags when a new member joins your network to avoid displaying incriminating / damaging / embarrassing information from the past. Especially the drunk / smashed photos, photos with 'objectionable' people, etc
