Sometimes Day

February 17 is national Sometimes Day. This celebrates all the things that you only do sometimes. It’s a day to indulge and do things you wouldn’t normally do

Person 1: “hey do you wanna go out for a drink?”
Person 2: “no I only do that sometimes”
Person 1: “well it is the 17th…”

Person 2: “oh yeah it is sometimes day”

Sometimers is a condition, which can be thought of as a light version of Alzheimers. If you have Sometimers, you forget things some of the time that are things you should not forget. These are things you talk about often and there is no reason to forget them.

I had Sometimers the other because I could not even remember my son's middle name!

The phrase was used by a former national team coach (Fatih Terim) in an interview. Though grammatically wrong, it entered the Turkish daily language as a way of meaning "there is nothing to do about this" and it is being used in English.
