Rahimi was the deputy of Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, former president of Islamic Republic of Iran, and former head of Counter Corruption Agency. He got recently sentenced to 5 years in prison and a fine of about 1 million dollars for his involvement in high profile corruption cases.
