A follower of the Christian Faith or a Christian-related faith who only attends church in a time of crisis. This is moderately similar to a Holiday Christian though the attendance of a Holiday Christian is more predictable. Crisis Christians may attend church for consecutive weeks (or even days) in their time of need and not give it a second thought once their prayers have been answered.
Person 1: "My husband lost is job. We went to church every week and prayed for a miracle. Now he has a fantastic job and we don't need to go to church anymore!"

Get the exidermal crisismug. The feeling a Mexican who has lived in the US for many years gets when they finally save enough money to retire back to their hometown in Mexico, but then they realize their children are Americanized and will stay living in the USA forever.
I came to the US at age 15 with nothing and worked hard labor and construction for 40 years, breaking my back and sending all my money to my family back home in Michoacan. I finally saved up enough to build a house and retire back in my hometown. I am finally able to live the life I always wanted for myself growing up. I finally made it! I took my teenage kids out to dinner at a Mexican restaurant to celebrate and they ordered corn dogs and spoke to the waiter in English. Talk about a Mexistential Crisis... (sigh).
