A time period during a student's 3rd year of high school where there is an extreme focus on trying hard in classes as well as going for all leadership positions in clubs and activities. It often characterized by extreme stress, many applications, and insufferable try-harding. (Also sometimes called JTS for short)
She is really in her junior tryhard season with the way she's kissing up to the teacher.
Junior tryhard season is so tiring with all these applications and effort!

Like schrodinger's douchbag, but for video games. A person who plays a game seriously, but decides if they were "trying" or not depending on the outcome of the game.
"Alright I'm going to start trying now"
*person loses the match*
"I wasn't trying at all."
"Yeah sure, you're a schrodinger's tryhard, just another sore loser."

A person who tries too hard to be liked by acting in an insincere manner inconsistent with their true personality. Usually manifested by the person attempting to take on the persona of a funny or amusing or "life of the party" personality, and failing miserably.
At the conference, Cynthia continually threw out unfunny quips, laughed just a little too loud, and overly-complimented others, bringing accusations of "tryhard" from her fellow attendees.

Somebody that is putting all their effort into winning a match in a video game.
Commonly misused by people to insult others who aren't even trying to win the match, but are instead just killing the enemy team.
