To be in a short and unsatisfying relationship with Taylor Swift, only to have a write an insulting song about you after you break up.

Person 1: Did you hear? Harry Styles and Taylor Swift just broke up! He's totally about to be swifted!!

Person 2: Really? I guess he's about to join the ranks of Joe Jonas, Jake Gyllenhaal, John Mayer, and all those other poor fools who got caught in the witch's trap.

Person 1: Wow, maybe she's the problem.

Person 2: It doesn't matter to her since she gets paid for every guy she swifts

Swiftie

Taylor Swift, just at age 16 released her first self-titled album. Now at age 21 she just wrapped up her Speak Now World Tour U.S leg and has won CMA's Entertainer of the Year twice, 4 Grammys, first country artist to win a VMA, and many many more (146 nominations, won 90 of them roughly 2/3). And is the leading artist in the country.
A Swiftie is a person, guy, girl, man, woman, anyone who supports Taylor Swift in any way shape or form. A True Swiftie supports Taylor in every way, her music, her stage performances, her lyrics, her life, her personality, her choices. Swiftie is it's own definition, because its the best fan base in the world.

A Swiftie will defend Taylor if one critizises her.

To punctuate a conversation with pauses. Oftentimes, the pauses are because the person is coming up with witty puns.

Similar to the adverb "stiltedly".

Josh and Selome kept stilting the conversation with puns, but luckily Katelyn knew to expect this.

It was difficult to follow the conversation because both parties kept stiliting.

A legendary drum & bass DJ and head of Charge Recordings who started his career in the early 90s. Known for very technical and precise mixing as well as being able to drop multiple tracks at the same time known as double- or tripledrops (depends on the number of tracks).

The DJ was on fire, dropping five tunes at the same time like Mampi Swift!

Taylor Swift Effect

The Taylor Swift Effect is a phenomenon which occurred after Taylor Swift released her first album. Upon hearing this album, every girl between the ages of 11-20 who knew a few chords on an acoustic guitar declared themselves a singer-songwriter began to write billions of generic songs about breakups and jealousy, even if they had no singing ability or talent whatsoever. This phenomenon is still occurring today, and will continue for several years, until a new singer comes along that changes the trend from breakups to some new bland and generic topic.
