Awkward silence mode

When in a relationship. Both parties don't talk to each other anymore because they are not interested in each other or when they start talking but the confersation ends after five or ten minutes.

Person one: 'Kate and Steve used to talk to each other for hours and now they just don't. They sit next to each other and do nothing'

Person two: 'They are in awkward silence mode. So sad.'

Silence Glaive

An eight foot long polearm weapon carried by Sailor Saturn in the 'Sailor Moon' fictional world. Known for the ability to be able to cause the end of the world if the blade-end of the weapon is lowered to the ground.

It is reffered to in some circles as the 'Can-Opener-O-Mass-Destruction' because the distingishly G shaped blade on the business end makes the whole thing look like an eight foot, hand-action, can-opener. Opening a can of beans has never looked so fun. ~_^

Sailor Saturn raised the Silence Glaive high shouting: "SILENCE GLAIVE, SURPRISE!" There was no sound as the blade fell, only dread.

although a problematic term for something thats essentially undefinable, you miss that partner in your life. there may be situations, obligations, responsibilities, issues and struggles, all manageable somehow with a loved and cherished "you", the keeper of balance, of my heart, the shoulder, the mind, the smile, the only one who is allowed to touch me.

sitting in your room, the kids asleep, afraid to face the silence again, the silence friends and family can fill for only so long
