A scale for rating girls' attractiveness that is less subjective than the traditional 1-10 scale. Referred to as the diamond scale because there are very few on the extremes and the vast majority in the center. Scale runs 1-5, from best to worst.
1= Unrealistically hot. Top .0001% of girls. Pretty much restricted to top-tier celebrities, not a term you can just throw around. You see only a handful of these in your lifetime.
2= Extemely attractive. No significant flaws, and close to universally desired. Top 1-2% of girls.
3- = Basically the girl in a group that is clearly more attractive than the others. Anyone definitely referred to as "hot", someone that people would go out of their way to get with. About 15-20% of girls.
3 = 60-70% of girls. All decent, but nothing out of the ordinary. Realistically, they're not really significantly better or worse than each other.
3+ = Not your first choice, but you'd go for it if inebriated or desperate. Most butterfaces fall into this category, except for a few that might climb into the 3 range. About as common as 3-'s.
4= Distinctly unattractive. Someone you would get made fun of at length and universally for getting with. Roughly as common as 2's.
5= Horrendous. You see these only very rarely, about as much as 1's. These go beyond the realm of "typical ugly", and usually require deformities or other highly unusual issues with their appearance.

The Kinsey scale ranked individuals from 0 to 6, with 0 being completely heterosexual and 6 completely homosexual. A 1 was considered predominantly heterosexual with only incidental homosexual experiences, a 2 mostly heterosexual with more serious homosexual experiences, a 3 completely equal homosexual and heterosexual experiences, and so on. Kinsey reported that most American males fell in the 1 to 2 range of the scale and that a large majority appeared to be at least somewhat bisexual (in the 1 to 5 range). The study also reported that 10 percent of American males surveyed were mostly or completely homosexual for at least part of their adult lives (in the 5 to 6 range).

The first report was the most astounding and shocking to the public. Just like the real life "sex or no sex" decision, there are only 2 possibilities: 1 representing "yes", and 0 representing "no".
It is a great way to break down the completely arbitrary 10 point rating scale to a level that can be analyzed and compared by all, with relative ease.

Get the Binary scale mug.The FAT scale is the single most important measure when judging women. Each letter represents an element of a girls features F for Face, A for ass, and T for Tits. Each letter is then assigned a number from 1-10, depending on how hot she is. 1 is disgusting, 5 is average, 10 is unreal. State their score in respective order. For example, a pretty girl with an average ass and big tits might yield the score 7, 5, 8.

While girls may do this to, men are notorious for having consistent and somewhat harsh scales. The scale is a harsh scale, since there is no real thing as a perfect 10, and fairly attractive girls are given scores that are what they may seemingly deserve. For example, Kirsten Dunst would probably only recieve a 6.5 or 7. This is a fair rating. The minimum rating that most men would consider fucking is a 4.
