pseudocode

Pseudocode is a description of a computer programming algorithm that uses the structural conventions of programming languages, but omits detailed subroutines or language-specific syntax. It can also refer to a high level 'language' whose aim is to generalise the logic and program flow of a computer program

An example of how pseudocode differs from regular code is below.

Regular code (written in PHP):

}
?>

Pseudocode:

if credit card number is valid
execute transaction based on number and order
else
show a generic failure message
end if

pseudo-punk

background: the word 'pseudo' meaning fake, put together with 'punk'.

A person who trys to be punk and "hardcore", but truly is the exact opposite. pseudo-punks bring shame to true punks. many claim they are "anarchists" as well, even though they consistantly shop from hot topic, which contradicts basic anarchist morals. a psuedo punk may do but is not limited to the following: wearing ramones and sex pistols shirts, and not knowing ONE song by either, shopping from hot topic (as mentioned above), calling anyone who doesn't dress like them and/or disagrees with them "preps" and "conformists", and may smoke pot or do other narcotics to be rebellious.

ramones fan: nice ramones shirt you got there. what's your favorite song by them?

psuedo-punk: uhhhmm, erm, i dunno..."sex and drugs"?

ramones fan: uh, that's not a ramones song.

psuedo-punk: just shut up you stupid preppy!1!11!!

Psuedo Mom

A selfless individual who takes semi-abandoned/ emotionally raw teenagers under their wing as a temporary or permanent non-biologically related parent. Though, almost constantly it feels as if they could be your parent.Examples of activities that happen between your and pseudo mom: Boba ball fights, exchanging of music, staying weeks at a time at her house, finding her dogs in the rain while singing "i'm singing in the rain", Talking comfortably about sex,and sobbing like two babies when she moves to the next city. Psuedo moms are almost alway cooler, younger, and more understanding than biological parents. Most of the time you will leave your house go to your psuedo mom, and be home

pseudo-prep

The actual term for what is commonly referred to as Preppy, in regard to personal image and style. A contrast to what was and still is/should be considered Preppy (Oxford shirts, sweaters, anything identified as stereotypically Ivy League college). An outfit consisting of a Hollister t-shirt, Abercrombie cap, frayed sandals, and plaid shorts accompanied with large aviator sunglasses. Any outfit that makes the wearer appear a walking billboard or douchebag.

Kevin: Dude, did you see that kid who was all preppy looking back there?

Archimedes: No, no. He wasn't preppy, he was pseudo-preppy.
