Not caffeine or stress related. When spoken, heavy tone of desperation on the "why". Often associated with fear of knowing the sun will be up soon and looking like you were hit by a train that day.
I couldn't drag myself out of bed this morning because I was lying awake at "why o'clock", replaying the last scene from Halo 3 over and over in my head, worrying about my taxes, and humming the Family Guy theme song. I wanted to cry.
