A person who gets involved in high school activities like football or cheerleading because they think it will make them popular.

Bertier football players tend to care more about their armbands and highlight reel rather than being a good teammate.

Bertier cheerleaders think it will get them all the likes on Instagram.

Someone usually becomes a bertier because they watch movies that romantazie high school seinors. As freshmen a bertier thinks that one day they to will be having sex on the field after a football game while Creedence Clearwater Revival plays.

The name comes from Gary Bertier from the movie Remember the Titans.

Zack is on the football team just so he can wear his jersey to school on Fridays. What a bertier.
