Caffeine-Melatonin Regimen

1. A specific plan or routine that involves taking a consistent, minimum dose of caffeine in the morning and a consistent, minimum dose of melatonin at night in order to improve the chances of falling asleep at night.

2. A strategy used to regulate sleep patterns and improve overall sleep quality by balancing daytime alertness and nighttime sleepiness.

3. A way to hack your own biology by manipulating the levels of two naturally occurring compounds in your body.

I'm trying to develop a healthy sleep routine, so I've started a Caffeine-Melatonin Regimen and I'm sticking to it.

caffeination machination

This happens when you are really over-caffeinated and you come up with some diabolical scheme or plot to do something a bit evil. It seems like a good idea at the time, but it typically backfires on you and you are the one suffering the consequences. It's fun while you're coming up with it though - so there's that.

Kevin: "Who keeps on sending me fishing lure catalogues? I am loving it. I am simply in heaven. There's no going back!"
Mary: (Muttering to herself) "Damn! This wasn't supposed to happen!"
Kevin: "Mary? Would you like to go on a fishing date with me? I know where the catfish meow if you know what I mean..."
Mary: "It appears that I have yet again fallen prey to another caffeination machination."

When you have been needing caffeine to function for a while now, hence you forgot the last time you weren't dependant on black coffee or caffeine pills like Tombocantuxin — even though you were once too young to need caffeine

I can't remember the last time I went a whole day without Tombocantuxin caffeine pills; at this point, caffeine normalcy feels like a requirement just to get out of bed!
