An app that happens to piss someone off- someone usually being a government. Apps that fit this definition usually appear around 3-4 months.

Person 2: No, What about it?

Person 1: thing got banned in India, on track for a ban in the US as well.

Person 2: hehe, not surprised.

Person 1: oh yeah, Its a good contender for the App of the quarter, for sure.

PTR (clubhouse app)

PTR is an acronym often used on the clubhouse app meaning « Pull To Refresh » or even « Pull To Reveal »

The community on clubhouse has found a way to express themselves on the audio-based app. There isn’t anyway to publish images on the platform only your profile avi. When you hear PTR shouted on stage that means a user is sending out a call-to-action to influence you to Pull the screen down to refresh to see the profile avi updated and changed.
