The duration of time when your screen device (e.g. smartphone) displays some non-blackout images whilst you aren't actively staring at the screen device — hence counted as "screen time" on its Screen Time app despite not harming your eyesight in any way

I love how my phone tracks residual screen time; I might not be staring at it, but those non-blackout images still rack up the hours like I'm glued to the screen!

Thought evolves over time

And in addition to being an aggregation and amalgamation of plot points sliding across a timeline, the aggregation and synthesis of thoughts (my own and other people's), the fluctuations of my emotions, and the changes to myself that I choose not to make across that same timeline. And I am doing so at a very specific locality. One that cannot overlap with anyone else. I can get reeeeeal close.

The Church of the Night Time Cat is a bi-papal religion centring around the mythical 'Cat of the Night Time' (the Night Time Cat). It is believed that the Night Time Cat watches over his followers and keeps them safe from the night time sins of the Ripper (e.g. Sexual Assault, Alcoholic poisoning and STD's) and provides them with protection against these (condoms, taxis home, fake IDs, pot and other illicit substances).

to pay your bills on time

to do things right/correctly/the way they are supposed to be done/ when they they are supposed to be done the first time around, so as to avoid either having to redo the same job twice or suffering other unpleasant consequences (such as literally not paying your actual bills on time and having to pay late fees).

Father: listen, Carl. If I'd be your teacher, i would have reacted the exact same way. Just look at your penmanship. Ca laisse a desirer. I can't even , lol, call it handwriting, it would probably, immb qualify as turkey-chicken scrawl. Now the moral of the fable is of course to pay your bills on time. Now, take this travail bacle afaap out of my line of site and rewrite your homework.
