cruz'd

Being hit on by a member of the same sex. The term cruz'd comes from both cruising for sex and the implication that the cruz'ee might have met the cruz'er on a gay cruise some where.

Gay Man: Didn't I see you on that cruise out of P-town?

Straight Man: Nope.

GM: Quel Dommage. (walks away)

comp'd

In DJ parlance, a once-obscure song that has since been sampled or featured on a mass market compilation or reissue has been comp'd, i.e., it is no longer obscure because it has been brought into mainstream attention via cultural recycling.

I was going to sample a dope break I discovered on a private press 7", but then I realized that it had already been comp'd on a DJ Shadow mix.

1) Of or reffering to a situation when the underdog wins. Similar to "Phelps'd", but referring specifically to Phelps' seventh medal, which he won by one thousandth of a second.
2) To suffer a crushing loss.
