When a group of people gets together to worship an ancient fairy tale character(s). Extremists often reject science, just because, “it’s not what the (insert holy book) says!” Commonly against marriage equality, and other basic human rights. Many reject all evidence of scientific facts. The majority of religious people though, are good people, that just happen to believe in a god or gods.

a mental illness which leads you to believe in things that are not there and waste your time talking to them. Most of the people suffering under religion deny their illness and want to infect others. The only cure is rational reasoning but sometimes the brain is so fucked by religion that nothing helps anymore.
