hoco fair

The howard County "hoco" fair is one of the most popular places for kids in to go in late August in hoco but it's not how you think it is. It is FILLED with white girls that all wear the same thing. Jean shorts and a crop top. But I'm not complaing🤩. It's one the best places to stay relevant so alot of the Juniors and seniors go but they don't really fit in. Alot of people there are very drunk or above the clouds so everyone ends up hooking up sooner or later. Unless you play soccer. The most popular spot is the place in the middle right next to one of the ticket places. Everyone circles and talks and sorta waits for something to happen. You might ride like three rides there. They all suck. But you gotta love the hoco fair.

Laissez-faire faveur

When someone offers a favor, but in reality, they want you do the majority of the work.
Translated from French, this is a "let them do it" favor.
Darius: "The company laid me off, but they are willing to give me a strong recommendation during my job search."
Maddy: "Sounds like a laissez-faire faveur."
Darius: "Why do you say that?"
Maddy: "That happened to me once. It was all cool until the CEO told me to write my own recommendation for them to edit and return to me on company letterhead."
