Psycho Spam

An email, sent by a crazy ex, with the appearance of a spam or fishing email. Psycho Spam shows up in your inbox occasionally, every couple weeks or months, with multiple phony or vacated addresses in the "sent to" address line. These emails are sent in hopes of receiving a response by you in order for the sender to open up some sad, pathetic line of communication. Whether it's to harass, trying to stir up shit, trying to be friends again, or board with the person they are with so they are fishing for a future hook up. Any negative reply might result in a "restricted" call to your cell phone.

Pete; "Anymore from that nutty bitch who was crank calling your elderly mom?"
Jay; "No, but I get psycho spam from the nut job once every couple of months."
Pete; "She lied to you, screwed you over, talked shit about you to everyone who would listen and still emails you?
Jay; "It's okay. I've forwarded her psycho spam with replies to her boyfriend. That'll keep her busy."

psychiatric vacation

A popular practice in prison when a convict reaches a level of boredom or emptiness so severe that he or she embarks upon a plan to go “playcrazy” in order to get some sightseeing done and a temporary change in housing and usually much better meals in what may be an ingenious process of self-care.

I knew that I’d be seen as manipulative if I followed through with my prison savvy plan to take a psychiatric vacation but I was willing to suffer the blowback because quite frankly, my emotional needs are more important than my reputation at this point in my life.

psychonaut

An explorer of one's own mind. A psychonaut often embarks on inner voyages with the aid of psychoactive substances, meditation, sensory deprivation, binaural beats, and other means. Most commonly, one who experiments with psychedelic substances, such as psilocybin, LSD, MDMA (ecstasy), peyote, or mescalin. The goal of the psychonaut is to learn about self and reality by transcending normal consciousness. Psychonauts are distinguished from purely recreational users of psychoactive substances in their desire to learn and grow from these experiences.

Rebecca considered herself to be a psychonaut, looking for new ways of understanding the world and herself each time she ate her homegrown magic mushrooms.

A Passive Psycho is a guy who doesn't bother people, not violent and keeps to himself. Then when somebody fucks with him one too many times, all hell breaks loose.

The bully kept messing with Jimmy. Jimmy blew it off until one day he went from passive to psycho and stuck a pen in the bully's eye. Jimmy is a passive psycho.

Often believed, by those who don't understand the term's origin, to be spelt (or spelled, for the American audience) 'sike'.

Deriving from the word psychology, psych is a term used to indicate that whatever the person speaking just said was done so purely to mess with the listener's mind, to 'psych' them out, if you will.
