Brewhe

A “Brewhe”, is another slang word used by Italian-Americans for Jewish people. The words origin comes from the word “Hebrew”, or the language spoken by Jewish people. Generally, the word is used by younger Guidos from New York that tend to try to act like their overly racist and/or obnoxious parents from Queens or the Bronx. The word is also used excessively by Long Islanders(there is a large amount of Jews here) so the Italians on the island can talk massive shit about the Jews without them understanding/knowing you are talking about them.

“Yo Giovanni, look at the brewhe over there with his beanie/helmet on.”

“Dad why cant Elijah come over after school today?”
