Dunkadelic Stat-Meter

Is a basketball term for the number of Dunks recorded by a player in a game and or season. Is not an official statistic by most leagues but is recorded by individual teams for players.

Amare Stoudemire is number 1 in the NBA on the Dunkadelic Stat-Meter averaging 3.1 dunks per game. Shaquille O'Neal is leading the NBA in the Dunkadelic Stat-Meter catagory with over 200 dunks for the season.

Scare Stat

A stat that is potentially mis-leading, used with the intention of playing off of fear-based emotional reactions (pathos), used to support an idea. This idea, requiring deceptive support, is likely flawed. A scare stat has hidden truth (or is a twisted version of truth) which the author of the scare stat hopes you will overlook, as most people do.

A professional sports statistic that is contrived and presented in a manner so it sounds more significant than it really is.

Bit o'Stat

The term refers to anyone below the legal age of sexual consent. It ties in to the casual discussion and practice of men or women who are unknowingly interested in sexual partners below the legal age of consent. These people frequently find themselves in situations where they have to interact with attractive people, albeit of slightly too young in age nature.
