Insomnia

NOUN: A condition characterized by lack of the ability to sleep for prolonged periods of time, or otherwise extremely restless sleep. Often, insomniacs have trouble either falling asleep, staying asleep, or having a prolonged sleep cycle. If you're extremely unlucky, a combination of two or even all three of these characteristics can be present. Many (but not all) insomniacs tend to have underlying mental or emotional disorders that cause (or at least contribute to) the lack of sleep associated with insomnia.

Also, a pretty damn decent Stephen King novel, if you're into long reads.

Insomnia is the reason I'm writing this after 45 straight hours without sleep.

INSOMNIA (novel), however, is the reason I stopped reading books before bed.

Airplane Insomnia

A god-awful condition that absolutely prevents a person from sleeping on an airplane. This is usually caused by crappy, itchy seats, obnoxious seating neighbors who think their needs are more important than yours and their spoiled kids, bathroom lines, close proximity to a bathroom, not enough bathrooms in the plane, first class bathroom off-limits to you when there aren't enough bathrooms on the plane, charging actual money for year-old meals on the plane, and making you pay actual money every time you visit the bathroom, making airlines one of the first industries to put the price on a bowel movement.

Ralph sat a row away from the economy class bathroom, thinking about the empty first-class bathroom he'd been physically barred from nearly an hour ago. He'd had to take a shit for nearly an hour now, and the business class bathroom had been occupied non-stop for the entire flight. He decided to sleep, and just when he was about to dream, the fat spoiled brat behind him kicked the seat squeeling because his seat reclined upon his decorated seating space. Ralph realized he had airplane insomnia.

insomniac servers

Insomniac servers is one of the 'formerly' greatest communities minecraft has ever seen. This was during what was known as the 'classic' version if the game.

Since that time the servers had slowly dwindled down into an extremely small group of players, yet are now on the rise again, gaining more consistent, great players often!

insomniac maniac

Usually exists in hostel or dormitory.

A person who had difficulty to fall asleep, and disrupts his/her roommates' good night sleep.

My roommate always stays up at night, switching on his jukebox playing Justin Bieber crap and becoming a nuisance. I didn't get enough sleep and ended up having insomnia.

What an insomniac maniac.
