The cast concern me greatly. Nice to see that the Beeb has managed to keep every politically correct section of society at bay for the time being.

Miss Hoolie - Hairstyle has been set with hairspray that wouldn't move in a force 9 gale. Obviously designed for Scotland. Only wears shades of green and waves at everyone. Seems to unwittingly control the lives of everyone in Balamory so I can only assume some form of mafia protection thing going on.

PC Plum - Line dances...

Spencer - Got bored and just painted houses any colour he pleased.

Edie - Maniac driver if the opening titles are anything to go by. 60mph to a dead stop in less than a second. PC Plum doesn't even book her.

Archie - Pink castle, what next... an invention that works perhaps?

Josie Jump - Tries to get everyone fit. She is losing to the deep fried everything culture she is living in.

Code name for "blazed like a mug" -- meant to be intertwined in the wittiest manner possible into seemingly ordinary or meaningless conversation in order to surreptitiously inform others also aware of the code of your desire or intent to smoke marijuana.

Simple example:

Advanced examples:
"Where's blammy davis jr at?"
"Let's watch Blam Stoker's Blamula."
"Mary had a little blam."

When someone looks chic to start off the night, but by 4 am BLAM, they had a little too much techno talc and are off their rocker with nowhere to go

There are levels to this:

1. blamorous funked up but able to make it to a taxi and get home

2. BLAMorous ALL CAPS cause your girl needs some help

3. BLAM!orous ALL CAPS+an exclamation point means you are thinking about calling an ambulance or the authorities for help

Aaron started the night off looking fabulous in her Versace dress for her singing gig, but by the afterparty, she was BLAMorous and humping the side of the couch and screaming the word 'Graham' for no apparent reason.

A round of rhetorical bombs aimed at someone / something.

To humiliate or own someone publicly in a loud and attention-getting way.

Blambaste or blambast comes from the marriage of blam and lambaste.
