A person is overly positive in a negative or neutral situation (usually when losing something or someone): at a funeral, after losing a game, or when the room is just moping around

Positent

Short-hand for "Positentity" a portmanteau of Positive and Entity. Also short for "Positenets" (Positive Tenet).
Positents are positive qualities and traits such as values, principles, and virtues.
Thus, words such as Courage, Humility, Authenticity, Integrity, Purpose, Peace, Joy, Faith--are all Positents.

He's a genuine person. He's got the positent of Authenticity.

Glitch in a chat or instant message program that makes chat posts fail to appear.

Origin: Bazooka Joe-era kids' joke or riddle, "What do spooks have for breakfast?" Answer: "Ghost Toasties and Vanishing Cream" (after Post Toasties corn flake cereal).

"I'm going to have to switch screen names; I have the ghost posties. My comments aren't appearing."
