'Now' Songs are songs that have been recently released and are popular among lots of people. This term can also refer to songs that you are enjoying listening to at a certain point in time, no matter how old or new. Conversely, 'Now' Songs can apply to songs or music that are relevant to a certain occasion. For example, 'Now' Songs for a funeral would be sad and sombre, and for a dance party would be fun and upbeat

This is a cliché musical arranging technique started in the 2000s in which the chorus of a song is delivered in a hushed overly sentimental style followed by the entire band coming back in for an extra loud chorus. Abbreviation “SSM”
