Guidelines or a plan that an individual forms to potentially better her or his self in spite of the immense stress that (s)he will experience.

You shouldn't hope to better yourself with simple New Year's resolutions. You really need to dedicate some time to create an idiomuto and preferably before or after the New Year's hype.

In technology or telecommunications companies, the first level of technical support. Called idiots because they typically have no idea how things work and are just reading off a script.

Called Comcast because my DVR wouldn't power on. Their idiot layer said I needed to reboot it.

idiotize

To make something less complex and understandable to everyone, even idiots. Primarily applied when speaking to other people who don't understand advanced English and therefore, the need to simplify words occurs.

#1) I had written such a wonderful essay for my friend, but he said it wasn't easy to read so I had to idiotize it.

#2) Talking to people who don't understand one word of what I'm saying is so exhausting. I literally have to idiotize myself every time we speak!!

#3) I have idiotized myself so much that I feel my IQ dropped by 50 points minimum.
