Hipster/tech speak translated to "begging for money over the internet."

I really have this great idea for an app that has the potential to make millions, but I don't want to give up any ownership of my company, don't want to hassle with securities laws, or simply can't get capital investors interested. So, I'll just "solicit donations" over the internet by crowdfunding that way I appear legitimate instead of a beggar.

bottled water puts a fraction of a penny worth of water in a 2 cent bottle and sell it for a buck. crocs, on the other hand mold a few cents of plastic <i>with no water inside</i> into something kinda resembling a shoe, then sell the damn thing for $30.

i almost respect the guy who came up with crocs.

Crown Heights

One of the illest neighborhoods in all of Brooklyn. At one point largely Jewish, the neighborhood is now predominately West Indian, with Dominicans, Panamanians, and Puerto Ricans thrown in for good messure.
