A word used to describing Popping when people dont know anything about the dance.

Person 1: That kid is so good at poplocking!
Person 2: which one, popping or locking?
Person 1: yes exactly
Person 2: ITS TWO DIFFERENT DANCES!!!

Pollock

A person of Polish descent from most glorious Eastern European homeland. Birthplace of such significant technological advances as the screen door submarine and the glass bottom locomotive. Also origin of the jelly or custard filled pastry known locally by some indecipherable Pollock moniker.

Pollock #1, Wladyslaw - "Hey Uh, Ziggy, did you hear that Stosh locked his keys in his car yesterday?"

Pollock #2, Zbigniew - "Duuh, Yea Vlady, he didn't get his family out til just this morning!"

Bystander #1, Steve - "Fucking Pollocks."

Jackson Pollock

To vomit. Named after the expressionist painter whose works look rather like multi-coloured spew. Used in Red Dwarf by Kryten.

Pollock Pines

Pollock Pines is originally a general place name that describes the populated area just East of Placerville, then Camino CA (a town at the end of the railhead from Sacramento CA) and progressing eastward to the 13 Mile Post and then toward the crest of the Sierra Nevada Mountains going from Meyer's Grade, to Echo Summit, then down slope to Lake Tahoe and on to Reno (the next railhead East). Pollock pines encompases many different Stage Stops marked in milage between Placerville, CA and South Tahoe CA. These stops were also used as place names for the original East-West Pony Express route which is very closely mimicked by U.S. HWY 50

Stage Driver: Well, folks, it's time to depart Placerville (old Hangtown) and head up Rupley Grade to Camino for a quick horse change, appropriate libations and personal business, and then up to the ridge of Pollock Pines, where we'll have smooth travel and ample mail stops offering brief rest for all.

it's the best song of da world, and it means Three Stripes in Russian language, and is mostly danced on by east-Slavs. the name Three Stripes also is used for the brand adidas.

Polokaust

The systematic murder by Nazi Germany of over 3 million Polish Christians (mostly Roman Catholics) and the wholesale destruction of Polish cities, art, architecture, & culture during the years 1939-1945 when Poland was occupied by Germans during World War II. Killings occurred during street dragnets, in concentration camps, & slave labor camps. This genocide had its parallel in the Holocaust of the Jewish people. Many Poles died in retaliation by the Germans for harboring Jews and for any aid and assistance given them.

The Polokaust was the worst tragedy in Poland's history and touched almost every Polish family.
