Girl from the conservative, white, upper-middle class areas of Southern California who somehow has been kept out of the loop with how the world works, how other cultures operate in the world, and with most, if not all, current events. Despite these depravities, this has fostered a soul with a lot of spirit and beautiful, bubblegum personality.

Shelter island

A small town on an island in the Hampton’s accessed by ferries. Very blue collared and redneck. Winters are boring as shit, summers are better than anywhere else. You’re bound to see either a truck, a dirt bike or an American flag every half mile.

livin' that sheltered life

living the sheltered life is pretty much being the lamest kid EVER! like it entails that you are a chupmunck and basically the lamest kid ever. you don't leave the confines of your room to go outside, you stay in your house and watch anime all the time. You read manga and watch that hentai(DON'T CLICK IT) and get off from that. The only time you will probably leave the house is to wither go to boy scouts or game stop. And i love game stop. just not with all the chupmuncks and lame-o's there. You know nothing about anything, like sex or drugs or anything. You live like a little Christian boy or girl. the way to figure out if a friend is living the sheltered life is to ask them "Are you living the sheltered life?" if their answer is "What?" or "huh?", then you should probably tell them that they are living that sheltered life. if their answer is "no." or "AWW HELL NAW!"then your friend is safe from living that sheltered life. you should probably help your friend who is living the sheltered life NOT live the sheltered life by taking them to the club and moving them into society so they can be healthy, normal people.

If one has gone through a war with various stages of prolonging shock.

One who fights in battles and wars, unaware of how horrifying it really is, only to find themselves immenesly frightened; frightened by such as a clattering, a rustling, adrenaline stimuli-like head-rushing or a quickly-moving visual image or hallucination (Note, the hallucination may happen from the war anyway. Flashbacks, what have you. They are more relevant than non-war fighters.)

My great granfather was a shelder... he was under so much stress, and had so much shell shock from WWII that he ended up beating hell out of my father; even though he was an asshole to begin with and the only way to solve a problem to him was by force.
