killer clown

A person dressed as a clown with murderous or harmful intent. Possible origins include serial killer John Wayne Gacy, who became known as the "killer clown" when he created a series of oil paintings on death row on the subject of clowns; or an incident in Boston in 1981 in which dozens of reports surfaced of children being abducted by people dressed like clowns.

"The Killer Clowns in your town raising all hell" -Tech N9ne/"Imma Tell"

Note: the 1981 Boston incident of clowns abducting children spread to Kansas City, Missouri, Tech N9ne's oft-referenced hometown.
