HackSociety

HackSociety is a very wonderful website that you can find on the web. The site is filled with many members that are HQ. There are little to no trolls, skids, leechers, and so on. A phrase that derives from hackers in online gaming. It is used when someone accomplishes the seemingly impossible. Usually it's meant to be a compliment to the "hacker."

The phrase can be applied to all aspects of life, not just video games.

A: Did that guy really just catch a squrriel with his bare hands?
B: yeah man, hacks on.

(n): the practice of using information technology for some benign or benevolent use other than that use for which it was intended.

Before it was publicized, the use of "Control-Alt-Delete" to break out of an infinite loop was an example of white hat hacking. Today, it is considered a Windows feature.
