A personalised network of everyone that a person knows. Typically, an individual’s Grid has them in the center. People who are closer to the middle mean more to that person than people who are further away.

Jeremy’s Grid only has 6 people in it. Therefore, it should be deemed on honor to be on his Grid.

Off-Grid

To (seemingly) disappear from the face of the earth
Disappear to a place one would be very unlikely to be found.

Off-Grid is a term used when cutting off all contact via internet and phone with friends and family for an allotted amount of time.

It is also used when cutting off all contact, so one can have alone time.

Road-Grid

The act of explaining a topic that you have a high familiarity with to someone with no preconceptions of the topic; in a way that they would not understand, unless they already knew about the topic.

Lex: Which way do I go to get to the restaurant, left or right?
Fred: Well, it depends on how you want to go, because it’s all a grid, so it does not matter.

Lex: Don’t road-grid me! I don’t know my way around, just tell me the direction!
